Why carpets and Pesach cleaning go together

Pesach preparation means removing chametz from every corner of the home — and carpet is where crumbs actually live. A season of family meals, kids' snacks, and everyday life settles into the pile where vacuuming reaches only the surface. What families book, in order

The classic sequence: bedrooms and playroom carpet first (they're done and closed off), then stairs and hallways, then the dining room — the room that matters most and hosts the sedarim — last, so it's freshest for Yom Tov. Area rugs under dining tables get either in-home cleaning or facility washing with free pickup; upholstered dining chairs and the living room sofa join most bookings; and allergy-aware parents add kids' mattresses while the crew is there.

The timing math

The two to three weeks before Pesach are the busiest weeks of our year in Woodmere, Cedarhurst, Lawrence, and Great Neck — even with added crews and extended hours. Book two to three weeks ahead for your preferred slot; earlier for the biggest homes. Kitchen-turnover week is chaos enough without waiting on a carpet crew.

Practical notes for the season

Everything we use is non-toxic and residue-free — carpet is safe for crawling babies as soon as it's dry. Drying takes 4–6 hours, so morning appointments have rooms back in use the same evening. Crews work around your kitchen timeline and covered surfaces without being asked twice; it's not our first Pesach season.
